VARDT is an independent editorial publication focused on diplomacy, international relations, institutions and public affairs.

It was created to publish clear, sourced and accessible analysis on how states, institutions and public actors operate, interact and exercise influence.

VARDT approaches international and public affairs through an institutional lens: looking not only at events, but at the structures, actors and mechanisms that shape them.

EDITORIAL APPROACH

VARDT prioritises clarity, context and source quality.

Articles aim to distinguish documented facts from interpretation, avoid exaggerated claims, and give readers enough institutional and historical context to understand why an issue matters.

Primary sources, official documents, institutional publications and serious academic or policy research are prioritised whenever possible.

The objective is not to reproduce the pace of breaking news, but to publish material that remains useful beyond the immediate news cycle.

VARDT is an independent editorial project.

Its content is not produced on behalf of any government, political party, institution or interest group.

Contributors are expected to distinguish analysis from advocacy and to identify relevant sources, affiliations or potential conflicts of interest where appropriate.

Guillaume Milan BLIMON is a student in public administration with a developing focus on diplomacy, international relations and public institutions.

VARDT was created alongside his academic work as a space to develop rigorous editorial analysis, improve research practice and explore international and public affairs through an institutional perspective.

The publication is intended to grow progressively through original articles and selected contributions from students, researchers and practitioners with relevant expertise.

EDITORIAL STANDARDS

VARDT aims to maintain clear standards regarding sourcing, attribution, corrections, conflicts of interest and the distinction between factual reporting and interpretation.
